Hi Graduate!
The dog days are officially over and fall is right around the corner, which comes with brisk weather, football, pumpkin spiced lattes and a new school year.
For students, staff and the entire community this particular school year comes with a very new beginning.
For the first time in nearly 90 years, one of the most iconic school buildings in the entire state of Ohio will be non-operational as demolition wrapped up a couple of months ago on Central Elementary and the Freshman building.
But with very end comes a new beginning.
The era of three brand new school buildings within the Fairfield City School District which will be home to some of the best teachers and brightest students in the country starts now!
The FCSD will open the doors to (the new) Central Elementary, (the new) Freshman School, and the (all-new) Compass Elementary! It's a very exciting time for students and the community as a whole and we can't wait to get an opportunity to view the new buildings.

Saying Goodbye to the Original FHS.

As the school buildings came down, many of you in the community collected a keepsake by obtaining a brick. The cost is $6 per plate and can be ordered online.
