NITDA ORGANIZED STARTUP NIGERIA EVENT IN LAGOS
On Saturday 19 th August 2017 at Admiralty Conference Center, Naval Dockyard Complex, Lagos, The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) through the Office for ICT Innovation & Entrepreneurship (OIIE), a subsidiary of NITDA, nurturing, cultivating & expanding ICT innovation & entrepreneurship held the Nigeria startup to promote and support Nigeria startups which has adopted Information Communication Technology (ICT) to drive their businesses.
At the event some short-listed startups pitched to showcase their products to the audience and judges were on hand to access the viability of the products.

AFRICAN SME EXPO 2017
The Federal Ministry Industry, Trade and Investment in collaboration with C.B Network Limited hosted the 2017 African SME Expo with the theme ‘’promoting SME for Sustainable Development and Economic Growth’’.
The Expo held from 15th-18th August 2017 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos State, gathered various organisations relevant to the growth and development of SME’s in Nigeria.
The event was declared open with a welcome address by the Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr Aminu Bisalla.
Various topics relevant to the sustainable development of the SMEs were extensively discussed at the event.
NIRA in company of its three NIRA Accredited registrars: exhibited at the event and showcased the .NG brand. It was a rewarding experience for all as some participant were able to register their .ng domain names.
