The Library has new hours! As of September 1st, both buildings will be open 9:30-8:30 Monday through Thursday and 9-5 on Fridays; the Main Library will be open Saturdays 9-5.

With these extended hours we plan on increasing the programs we offer; below are just some of the programs. All programs, and program details can be found on our website: http://library.dedham-ma.gov/events
In observance of Labor Day, the Library will be closed September 2nd and 4th, resuming regular hours on Tuesday, September 5th.

3D Printing Class

Ever wanted to 3D print something? Come to this 3D printing class, design something in tinkercad, and we’ll print it for you to pick up later!

ALL AGES WELCOME! If you’re under 10 we recommend having a guardian or older sibling help you.

Don’t want to design, just want to print? Come to the event and browse through websites such as Thingiverse, pick something to print, and come back for it later.

Adult Yoga

Join Laurel Marsh for a morning of yoga; gently stretch and strengthen your body while practicing mindfulness. Yoga is a wonderful way to release tension and stress while improving balance, flexibility, joint health, self-awareness and confidence. Class is suitable for all levels, no experience necessary.

Endicott Branch Lawn, Mondays, September 11-25 at 10 am.

Want to make your own video game? Learn how in this complete beginners class using Unity.

We will be following along with the Roll-a-Ball tutorial, learning how to use Unity, how to think about programming logic, and having a ton of fun!

All ages welcome, but if you are 10 or younger we recommend having a guardian or older relative help you.

--Wednesday, September 20th from 6-8 at the Main Library

Michael Graff of AFEA is hosting a 90 minute course designed for those concerned about proper estate planning, reducing or eliminating estate taxes, and ensuring that their wishes are fulfilled.

Monday, September 18th at 6 at the Main Library.
Super Awesome Fun Time!
  
45 minutes of super awesome fun time! Music, song, stories, and sensory play for all. You don't want to miss this. Free and for all ages!

We will also be offering 2 Pajama Story Times; the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 6:30p at the Endicott Branch.
