I hope your week is going well so far. I just wanted to give you a brief update on what we are up to and invite you to our event. Friday, October 13th, we will be hosting an appreciation event for Maria Marcello, founder of Mamas Unidas, and the rest of the teachers and staff at Washington Elementary.
Mamas Unidas came to our hearing on August 8th and marched to San Jose City Hall with their kids. It was an amazing showing of support.
To show our appreciation, we are putting on an appreciation event / fundraiser for Washington Elementary's afterschool program.
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon. We will have food, drinks, we will be raffling off 2 Trek bikes, it'll be a true family event.
