We are happily back home now with Zonetta after a great week in Ermelo at the Longines World Young Dressage Horse Championships where she represented GB in the 5 year old class with Amy Woodhead.
On the first day in the big main arena she showed her lack of arena experience at only the 5th show of her life, resulting in some green mistakes but on the second day she showed more of her potential to finish 15th in the small finals with a final score of 7.78 and some super comments from the judges.
Zoe matured so much in the week and we are excited to see her development for the future, this is just the beginning of her dressage journey.
Thank you to British Dressage and the BEF for inviting us to represent GB. This is the first combination of hopefully many more to compete on the world stage for MSJ in the future but we will never forget Zoe being our first to compete in Ermelo. Having purchased her as a foal, this is already such a rewarding experience to see her come so far in such a short time.
