SEPTEMBER 2017

GET READY FOR A NEW SCHOOL YEAR

Welcome back!

I hope your summer days were filled with happiness and that you are ready to start the new school year off.  It promises to be an exciting and challenging one.

I will spare everyone the usual banalities and give you a few bulleted points upon which I reflected personally as I prepared for this school year:

  • Be humble.
  • Listen. Listen some more.
  • Share. Give. Be generous.
  • Take the time to laugh.
  • Laugh often.
  • Accept challenges.
    Be ready to fail.
  • Resist cynicism and avoid naysayers.
  • Take care of yourself.
    Be healthy and be mindful.
  • And finally, have fun.

That’s it!

LEARN Serves as an Online Resource for Anglophone Students Throughout Quebec

At some point in your life, you’ve burned the midnight oil over a math problem or stared hard at a blinking cursor with no idea how to begin the essay you’re trying to write.

While abundant resources such as private tutors, review books, and teacher availability exist for students struggling with subjects or specific concepts, not everyone has access to those options and it’s hard to gauge their effectiveness.
