A message from Louise PrynneLouise Prynne

While August has been another busy period for Bath, it is time to look forward to the opportunities which autumn brings.

Planning and reviewing a holiday is a good reminder of the importance of reviews for all businesses, not just hospitality venues.  Google, Facebook and Trip Advisor reviews are  becoming so significant for all businesses seeking to attract new clients and retain loyalty.

On that note, the BID is focussed on providing an excellent business welcome for everyone who comes to the city and therefore we  have launched a pilot programme to support the development of excellent customer service within Bath BID businesses.

Our mystery shopper partnership with Shopper Anonymous is proving very popular and will enable participants to find out how their service is perceived. It is worth remembering that despite the word 'shopper' we all have 'clients' , so we would  also urge financial and professional service organisations to get involved.  Please contact us if you are interested in participating, we have a couple of spaces left for professional and financial services businesses.  This pilot is free for our Bath BID businesses.

Looking forward to meeting some of you at our next

“Get Fit for Business Breakfast “

with Business West and the Bath Chronicle on Thursday 21st September at the McDonald Bath Spa Hotel.

NEWS

Outstanding Contribution

Huge congratulations to our very own BID director Peter Rollins who has been recognised with an Outstanding Contribution Award in the 2017 Bath  Business Awards.

Peter who is the head of marketing at both the Thermae spa and the luxury Gainsborough hotel has worked tirelessly to promote tourism in the city and we at the BID are delighted that his hard work has been recognised in this way.

Celebrating 30 years in September with an amazing 30% off 200 jewellery items promotion!

The award-winning designer jeweller Nicholas Wylde is celebrating a milestone anniversary this September – 30 years since he opened his first store in the city of Bath.

In September, Nicholas Wylde has organised a very special promotion offering a 30% discount on 200 pieces of his jewellery - all specially chosen by Nicholas himself and showing a lovely cross-section of diamond rings, pendants, earrings and bangles.

These special offers will be in both Bath and Bristol shops offering some amazing savings and serving as a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to both clients and business associates for their support over the past three decades.

The promotion begins on September 1st and will run throughout the whole month.  All 200 discounted pieces can be seen on our website
www.nicholaswylde.com

Also part of this exciting in-store promotion will be the exhibition of the seven jewelled treasures that thousands of people were hunting for around the city centre of Bath, bringing all these stunning pieces together for the first time!

Join in the celebrations and go ‘Wylde’ for savings in this special month!
