Busy Autumn Ahead!

SEPTEMBER 2017
As you'll have seen from our web page we're in a quiet mode at the moment - though plans for a Newtown Textile Museum collaboration are growing, slowly.
As you'll also see from our facebook page (which you can also see on our website even if you don't have an fb account) there's some good stuff happening.
This afternoon (Saturday 2nd) you can see the KLEZMONAUTS on the Newtown Food Festival stage (those portable stages not my favourite setting for traditional music but Klezmonauts will provide a good show, I'm sure).
Tomorrow you can see HARRIET EARIS and PETER STEVENSON in a more relaxed setting at Oriel Davies telling the story of the mighty John Roberts of Newtown. Amazing 19th century musician who played before Queen Victoria (probably didn't realise it was her turn).
More stories in Bishop's Castle on FRIDAY 8th SEPTEMBER when AMY DOUGLAS begins a new series of BLAST with storyteller NICK HENNESSEY.
Andy Warren's SOUNDBITES returns to the Great Oak Cafe in Llanidloes for a one off event on Oct 14th featuring JULIE MURPHY & CERI RHYS MATTHEWS. Workshop with Ceri the following day.
World music workshop with Flatworld in Berriew on Nov 4th. On the same day various TASC musicians will be helping celebrate the Textile Museum's 50th Birthday.
Meanwhile the TAKING STEPS PROJECT enters its final stages - catch up with it http://www.dartmoorstepdance.org.uk/
and all other TASC information is on our usual website:-

Next Newsletter next month. We'll try and include anything you'd like us to include, but our focus is always on educational and innovative work, not just a list of gigs. Broadsheep already does a brilliant job of listing.
