We have a NEW WEBSITE!

We are so thankful to have a new Website up and running! Our old website served us well, but is was time for a new one. One of our board members has spent endless hours getting the new one ready and now it is live!  Take some time to visit the new site and look around, hit all the buttons and read about Sweet Dream!  Still the same address:  www.sweetdreaminabag.org

Please use the website to sign up for Pack & Pray Events and for volunteering for Gifting Events.  Also you can email us with any questions you might have.  

Many Different Pack, Pray & Provide Events

 

  • The Girls Soccer Team of John Brown University from Arkansas was here in Denver area.  The team wanted to participate in a meaningful project.  Thirty girls came for the afternoon and learned about Sweet Dream and packed 75 Sweet Dream Bags!

  • A young man chose to partner with Sweet Dream in a Bag as a project to get his EAGLE scout award to make a difference for children.  He had to raise funds for the bedding, find the volunteers and locate a place to hold the Packing Event. His responsibility is to train all the volunteers and transport all the bedding to and from the packing site.  He has to recruit volunteers come to a Gifting Event where the children will receive their Sweet Dream Bags. A big Eagle Scout project, but fifty children will be sleeping cozy and warm this winter because of his leadership, hard work and caring!

  • Littleton Hospital has chosen Sweet Dream to be one the of recipients of their community outreach.  On September 13th at Mile High Academy in Highlands Ranch they will be packing 50 Sweet Dream Bags.  There will be Littleton Hospital employees and community volunteers helping many non profits that day! Sweet Dream is thankful to have been chosen as one of their projects.

  • Several churches have made arrangements to pay for half the bedding costs so they can have a Pack & Pray brought to their church.  It will be a time for the entire congregation, including children, to work together and make a difference for children. 

    These special events are great projects for all types of groups and provide more precious children with their own "Sweet Dream" bag!!
PACK, PRAY & PROVIDE EVENTS
 

The third Saturday of every month, but December, there is always a Pack & Pray Event.  It is always held at Bethany E-Free Church, 6240 S. Broadway, Littleton.  We start at 9 am and finish by 12:30.  A light lunch is served at about 11:15.  Everyone is invited.  Bring friends and your entire family!!  A GREAT way to spend a Saturday morning.  We repackage all the new bedding into beautiful gift bags filled with new bedding.  We will teach you how to fold and put together the Sweet Dream Bags.  You will be an expert before you know it!

Please sign up on the new website.
You can purchase a Walmart or Target Gift Card in any amount and Sweet Dream can use them to purchase needed items for the Sweet Dream Bags.
 This is an easy to donate to help Sweet Dream have all the needed items that go into the bags!
Covering the cost of the
"You Are Awesome!" Books
 
 Thanks to a generous donor we have about a third of the cost of the books covered, it would be wonderful to have them  fully paid for.  We ordered 4,000  books.  It is a large investment at one time, but by ordering this large amount at one time we could get the very best price per book!  

Scheduling Gifting Events for Fall
We are moving into our busy season for gifting events, currently scheduling Gifting Events for the Fall.  Caseworkers and directors please email or call so we can get your agencies a great spot on the calendar, it's filling up fast!  Volunteers keep checking the Event calendar as we add these events as they are scheduled!  Susie:303-507-2098
