Comedy Crowders,
Here is something you may not know about many of the most successful comedy writers. They are not just comedy writers. They have also tried their hand at performing, producing, directing and all aspects of the creative process. Have you immersed yourself in different comedic disciplines? We explore the benefits of being a jack of all trades today, as well as bringing you more opportunities to create. Let's do it.

First up, we recently ran a competition for writers to have their Chort script filmed by the FLS comedy team.
The scripts were entered and the results are in. Congratulations to winning writer Jon Benoy with his short comedy "Post Best-Man Speech". Runners up Adam Martin and Nichola O'Hare will also have their scripts filmed. We look forward to sharing the final productions!

Do you want to play the role of best man in the winning script?
We have set up a Facebook group for writers and actors to meet and work on new projects. The first post is from Jon Benoy looking for an actor to work with him and FLS comedy on his winning script.
If you want to play this role or post another of your own, check out our brand new writers and actors group here.

Should you do stand up to help your screenwriting? And vice versa?
|
|
