Dear friend,
You are receiving this email because you have in the past participated in an event or joined a webcast sponsored by Americans for a Clean Energy Grid (ACEG), our diverse coalition focused on the challenges of modernizing, extending, and integrating the high-voltage grid to play its critical role in achieving a sustainable, reliable, affordable and secure energy future. We are writing because we want to confirm your continued interest in these challenges.
ACEG has now been reconstituted to pursue these goals as a separate non-profit corporation. We plan to offer regular updates on developments on the high-voltage grid and to organize regional and national events and webinars where new projects, old problems, policy options, technology advances, market factors, and real-world constraints will be discussed. Our objective is to continue enlarging our diverse coalition of those who agree with us that we cannot achieve these necessary goals without improving the grid.
If you want to continue to receive communications and invitations from us, you don’t need to take any action, but we encourage you to visit our website at cleanenergytransmission.org to learn more about ACEG’s current status and activities. We would love to hear about your specific involvement or concerns and how you think ACEG might help. You may want to forward this email to others who share an interest or a stake in the backbone of the power grid and invite them to sign up for this mailing list on our website.
If, however, you do not want to receive further emails, news, and invitations from ACEG, you can unsubscribe from this list or update your subscription preferences at the bottom of this email.
Sincerely,
John W. Jimison
