Exhibitions and Events for teachers Reminder
With the new term staring, here is a reminder for two teacher events on at the Sainsbury Centre this season.
TEACHERS’ EVENING
Thursday 14 September, 4.30-6pm. FREE.
Join us for a drink to celebrate the start of a new year, and to hear talks from curatorial and learning staff about our autumn exhibitions, including The Russia Season and Roger Law: Satire and Ceramics.
These exhibitions present another great opportunity for topic work across subject areas. Why not invite your history colleagues to come and join you, and start planning cross-curricular projects together?
ARTIST-LED WORKSHOP DAY
Saturday 14 October, 10.30am- 4.30pm
Price: £20 with lunch & refreshments included / £14 School Friends / FREE places available to teachers at UEA Outreach partner schools
Spend the day working with artist educators in a studio workshop based on our Russia Season. Visit the Royal Faberge and Radical Russia displays, and then work together to explore a variety of ways to respond with groups of students, either at the Sainsbury Centre or back in your classroom.
