JAMESON continues to blow us away with the progress he has made in all aspects of his life since he has been with us. The once shy and quite little boy, who barely had enough energy to sit and watch a movie has transformed into a quirky little jokester. Jameson loves to be silly and do the things that all little boys love to do, play soccer, climb trees, and get into mischief with his “partner in crime” Kervens. You can often hear the duo playing and laughing around the Boys’ Home. It is our prayer that he continues to gain strength, and remain healthy in all the days to come. Please pray for Jameson’s health, and that joy and peace continue to flourish in his heart and soul.

It is with much joy and pride that we share another graduation at our Children's Homes. It has been an honor and absolute pleasure to have had the chance to care for and disciple Clermond & Diene.  As the saying goes, it’s now time for them to leave the nest.  We are so proud of the men they have become, and are excited to see how they will go out and affect the world around them.
 
Clermond has grown in so many ways in his time at Child Hope.  He is a strong leader, which will be a tremendous assess as he transitions out of the Boys’ Home.  Clermond will continue to attend the College Methodist School where he is in his final year.  He has been working at The Cafe at Papillon Enterprise for nearly a year and will continue there while he attends school.  Clermond is planning to move in with his mother and brother, and is using some of his personal savings to help his mom finish building her home!




 
Diene has blossomed into such funny and caring young man. He is extremely focused in school and we know the Lord has great things in store for him.  He will continue to attend the College Methodist School, where he  is in 11th grade. Diene has a job lead at a bakery, where his passion for baking would be a perfect match.  He will balance work and school as he transitions out of the Boys’ Home.
 
We thank each of you for all of the ways you have loved and supported these two over the years. You have made an impact far greater than you will probably ever know, and we want you to know how deeply thankful we are!

We had an incredible summer, but we are happy to announce the children are back in school!  The giggles and stories they share as they get picked up each afternoon is music to our ears.  Our prayer is that receiving an education will afford these kids endless opportunities when they grow up, and that these sharp minds will be the leaders of their country in the future.

In just over one week's time we raised $6,800 for school tuition through our Back to School Campaign.  We are so thankful for all who donated!  You can still participate in helping us secure the $16,000 total needed to cover tuition for all the children.  Click HERE to donate.

Looking for a Spring Break trip that will impact how you view the the world? Child Hope's Vin Aprann trips are designed to provide a  perspective of how what we are doing fits into the greater work that God is doing in the country of Haiti as a whole. November 28 is #GivingTuesday.   If you've never heard of Giving Tuesday, it is an international day of giving at the beginning of the Christmas season.  Last year Child Hope raised over $30,000 in a single day!  This year we are hoping to break that record.  Stay tuned for more details.
