We have Tumblebooks!

Wanting child appropriate ebooks? Try Tumblebooks. TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of ebooks for children with animated, talking picture books, read-along picture chapter books, math stories, graphic novels, and more. Tumblebooks is free and unlimited, but Internet access is needed to use TumbleBookLibrary. And it has no due dates or overdue fees.

In partnership with the Peru Elementary School District, we offer Tumblebooks for our younger patrons.

Coming Soon - Launchpads

We are adding 6 Launchpads to our collection for use with children, parents, teachers and others. Launchpads are tablets with about 8-10 books and learning games pre-loaded to the device. The selections on our Launchpads will support early and family literacy, focusing on ages 3-7 to provide tools for reading and literacy skills. Since they are not connected to the internet, they can be used anywhere, anytime. We anticipate the 6 Launchpads will begin circulating by late October.

The Launchpads were purchased with a donation from the LaSalle-Peru Kiwanis Club.  Thank you to the Kiwanis for their generosity.
