Statement from Noble Network of Charter Schools Regarding DACA

CHICAGO, IL – Noble is extraordinarily disappointed in the Trump administration’s decision to end DACA and limit DREAMers opportunities in America. Since 2012, the program has provided the means for deserving young people to more safely work, live, and attend college in the only country they’ve ever known. DREAMers exemplify the best of American ideals.

We join millions of voices around the country in calling for our political leaders in Washington D.C. to enact a swift and permanent solution that provides legal residency and security for all DREAMers.

“Our DREAMer students, alumni, and staff are an inseparable part of our Noble community and inspiration to all of us,” said Michael Milkie, Noble Superintendent. “We continue to love and support them during this difficult and confusing time. We urge our political leaders to come through with a permanent solution to allow DREAMers to continue their contributions to Noble, Chicago, and our nation."
