Leadership Forums for Sustainable Development

Achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all, will require a massive effort from the water and sanitation sector, especially in low and middle income countries. The challenges are numerous and complex, going well beyond a simple investment in infrastructure, and progress in the sector is hampered by a shortage of appropriately skilled people in the workforce.

To support the sector’s efforts to meet the SDG on water and sanitation, the IWA Water and Development Congress & Exhibition is THE event where the science, practice and business of water comes together to find sustainable water solutions for developing and emerging economies. Our Leadership Forums series bring together sector leaders to debate the future of water management.
