Inside Higher Ed is reporting U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos will not announce changes to the federal guidelines for campus sexual assaults in an address today at George Mason, nor will she "change the burden of proof required of colleges considering allegations of sexual assault." However, DeVos is expected to voice her dissatisfaction with what she will call a "failed system" & begin a public comment period to gather input on potential changes to overall Title IX enforcement.
