Wake Up Campaign: Niagara Falls Fire Department

Did you know that it is the responsibility of homeowners to install and maintain working smoke alarms on every storey of their home and outside sleeping areas and it is the landlord's responsibility to ensure that their properties comply with the law. Homeowners and landlords are also responsible for ensuring working carbon monoxide (CO) alarms are installed in their properties.

As part of the Wake Up Campaign, the Niagara Falls Fire Department is currently going door-to-door making sure residents are safe in their homes, with working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. The Niagara Falls Fire Department is currently visiting residents of Chippawa every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM until September 21st.

Visit niagarafalls.ca/fire for more information.
