It's beautiful weather, there's a killer film festival going on NOW, downtown and we have a spectacular wine tasting Saturday 1p-4p!

La Gioiosa Et Amorosa Rosea Brut

Light and bright rose colour. Fruity and flowery bouquet with delicate notes of unripe golden apple and small mountain flowers. The flavour is dry, fresh and zesty with a fruity and harmonious aftertaste. I love this wine, not fully sparking, ripe berry fruit flavors

Excellent as an aperitif and ideal with fish. It' $14.99

Fernlands 2016 Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc for under $15.00? Well we've done it!
Wonderfully zesty with BALANCED grapefruit. It's not all pucker.
A true and classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with exotic aromas of passionfruit & guava, hints of lime and lemon and possibly a touch of gooseberry.
Flavours  mirror the nose there's a hint of acidity and minerality that coats your tongue.  It's $12.99

Verdicchio Dei Castelli Di Jesi
(Kermit Lynch)

The perfume is lovely—at once fresh and rounded, and typical of the grape. There is absolutely no pretense. Pure Verdicchio, vinified and aged with no makeup, with a bit of prickly CO2 left in the bottle to keep it sprightly. The vines are 30 years old. There's no malolactic fermentation & its aged in stainless steel. $14.59
Tinga Reserve Red Blend Claret, Chile

A Bordeaux style red blend of Cabernet 40%, Malbec 40%, Petit Verdot 10%, & Cabernet Franc 10%

An elegant crimson color. On the nose, strawberry and plum with hints of nutmeg. It has good structure and volume with a long ripe red fruit finish. $13.99
Happening this weekend! Buy your pass, stop in for our tasting, get some dinner and watch Indie Films ALLLLLL Weekend! Foster the Indie Spirit.
The Skyline Indie Film Fest is my favorite event ever year. So much so, that I solicit funds for it, which isn't something I enjoy, but that's how strongly I feel about this event. I beg for sponsorships. It's an entire weekend of independent film (not in distribution) and it brings in people from all over the county as well as show casing the occasional local film maker. I would be honored if you would purchase tickets and join us. Watch the trailers and check out all of the events taking place. Here's your details!
Wrap up your film watching weekend Sunday at 6pm with a showing of Devil Bat at Escutcheon, to benefit the Skyline Indie Film Fest! Donations are accepted.
And then there's this! Murphy's has teamed up with Escutcheon (The official beer of Skyline) to bring you Creature Features! We are on our 4th in the series and will be showing Devil Bat starring Bela Lugosi...and big bats... The event is FREE, but we do ask for donations & the proceeds go to the film festival. It will be on the 2nd Sunday of Sept. You can come in for a brewery, 142 W. Commercial Street, at 6p & the movie will start at 6:30pm.
Our next Tasting for September will be on the 9th with Lucinda from Robins Cellars. Join us from 1p-4p
Murphy's delivers! Order 6 bottles of wine, or a case of beer within the city of Winchester & we'll bring it to you! (There is a $5.00 Charge) Call 540-723-9719
