Dear Friends of Precious Blood Ministry (PBMR),
Many positive things have been happening at Precious Blood Center these past months that we are eager to share with you. Many of you have been awaiting the news that the neighborhood house that we hoped to purchase and renovate is finished and open!! Good News – it is!! So we invite you to “Come and See” it. Many of you helped pay for the windows, the doors, the bricks….THANK YOU!!
Come and see and hear about all the other amazing things that have been happening at PBMR! The media seem to tell the bad news stories while we have many good news stories to share with you.
So we invite you to continue to support our endeavors to “BUILD A FUTURE” for our youth and their families. We had a wonderful spring fundraiser and raised $80, 000 which was tremendous; however we did not quite reach our goal of $100,000; so we are having a Fall Pig Roast Fundraiser. Please join us and bring your family and friends.
The event will begin with an outdoor Mass at 11:30 (weather permitting); followed by delicious Pig Roast Dinner starting around 2PM. Besides the dinner there will be special treats made by our own Chef Shawn and his adult and youth assistants.
You can take tours of our facilities, see our newly renovated “Mother Brunner Home”, our Art Gallery with a powerful photo display, “Still My Mother; Still My Father”, picturing children visiting their incarcerated parents, and meet our staff, talk with some of our youth and their families. Come and join in the fun and delight in our amazing Community Vegetable Garden, sit in our Peace Garden and learn how valuable you are to our ministry. Our event will close at 4PM.
