Primary
A Note from the Primary Head
This week is Citizenship week at the French Section. Elections will be taking place in classes from CE1-CM2 at EPC. Your children are our citizens of the future and they are progressively learning about their rights, duties and responsibilities. The Children’s Council will meet once a month to debate and converse. Class representatives will make proposals, suggestions and decisions about life at school and in the world around them.

Notes in the correspondence books

CE1-CM2 parents: If you have left a note for your child’s teacher in their correspondence book, please make sure to let your child know, so they give their book to the class teacher and bring the note to their attention in the morning. In infant classes and CP, the learning assistants check for notes daily.

Reminder: sharing photos

As mentioned in the school rules, parents are not authorised to take photos at school or at the door of the classroom. Consequently, sharing photos of other people’s children at school or in the classroom (even when they are in the background of the shot) is not allowed.

ECAs: procedures and security

Please note that children should not be left unattended while awaiting their ECAs. The Educational Services Department has opened a second supervised homework club daily from 3:10-4:10pm. Parents of children who have ECAs starting after 3:10pm and who cannot come to school to supervise their children themselves should contact Joyce Chen to reserve a place in the Supervised homework club for their children.
