"Children are a Heritage from the Lord" (New Gospel Tract)

I don’t recall which mom first approached me. However, in a relatively short period of time, multiple moms asked me if I had written a gospel tract that they could readily and easily use when out with their children. Each of the moms shared their similar stories about being at a grocery store, park, or some other public place and having strangers comment about their children. Each mom expressed that it has been during those moments when they wished they had an appropriate gospel tract to put in the stranger’s hand.

Vaughn: "Is This Where I Stop and Talk?"

"So is this where I stop and talk?" The young man asked as he approached me. I was standing on the corner of Clinton Street and Iowa Avenue, near the University of Iowa.

Cross-Walking: "Please Pray for My Grandmother"

It was a beautiful Wednesday afternoon in Davenport, IA. Cooler-than-normal temperatures, low humidity, a bright blue sky spotted with gorgeous clouds–I took a deep breathe and thanked God to be back on the streets. There was another young man on the streets of Davenport this afternoon. His name was Austin and he was anxious about his grandmother.

1. "I love how Tony meets the arrogant guy's opinion with facts, in a calm and collected manner, while the young man is clearly operating on emotion. The young man seems to be using the shotgun tactic of argumentation. He throws a bunch of 'points' out there of things he thinks he remembers from 'studying' the the Bible, and when each point fails he quickly moves to the next failing point. He clearly hates the truth."

2. "Thanks for sharing this brother! We'll be praying for Jenkins. I was greatly encouraged by your dialogue and proclamation of the Gospel! Love you brother!!!"

3. Tony, what I love about you and your ministry is your own submitted heart. Your submission to the authority of the Police, and your Elder. It is, I believe, that submitted heart and mind that separates you from so many 'street preachers' who preach without that submitted heart (YouTube is flooded with men who may speak Truth but do so without a submission to authority. Keep moving foward Tony, with the love of Christ!"

4. "Tony, I've watched your street/open-air encounters off and on for years now, and I just want to say that I am touched and filled with joy at the kindness and compassion with which you now interact with everybody you encounter. It has been such a tremendous encouragement to see the transformation God has worked in your heart. Thank you for the example you are setting for those who desire to be involved in street evangelism. God Bless."
