By Karen Sawatzky on Sep 08, 2017 10:06 am

Just published – Volume 39, Issues 1 and 2 of the Manitoba Law Journal. The theme of this volume is “The Great Transition in Legal Education”. It’s filled with interviews with notable Manitoba legal luminaries, such as former Court of Appeal Justice Charles Huband, former dean of the Manitoba Law School Jack London, Justice Freda Steel and retired University of Manitoba law school librarian John Eaton.

Issue 2, the “Document Supplement”, consists of  documents whose aim is

to provide the reader with the opportunity to read directly, over the course of a century, the thoughts of leaders of the profession and of the law school as they reflect on the past and future of legal education (page i, Issue 2).

A print copy of the Journal is available here in the Great Library. It is also available online through Westlawnext Canada.
