We're back! After a busy August at the Fringe, The TBC Improv Theatre starts up again this week. If you didn't get a chance to see some of these superb acts over the past month, or you can't wait to see more of them, now's your chance. Tickets are available online or on the door, so be sure to check out this month's great line-up..

First Sunday of the Month

We took a break for the first Sunday after a hectic August, but Absolute Improv will be back in October with more of their 5 star, award winning, sell-out fun.

Second Sunday of the Month
10th September

Smoky Monkeys - 7.30pm

Fresh from their 22 night Fringe run: An Imp-revised History of the World, The Smoky Monkeys are back, with some new exciting formats, long-form adventures and hilarious characters. So join them for guaranteed silliness, mad-cap fun, occasional intellectualism and made up musical madness.

"Smoky Monkeys are exactly what an improv group should be." EdFringe Review

Me Plus One - 8.45pm

Mark Craig (TBC Improv) and a different special guest improviser each day create an entirely new and unique two-person comedy show based off one word from you – our wonderful audience!

Be sure to check out the official podcast at improvmeplusone.com.
Second-Last Sunday of the Month
17th September

Open Improv Night - 7.30pm

Open Improv Night is an informal, fun, safe, open night of improv. Anyone can sign up for a slot to perform anything with anyone! The only criteria is it must be completely (or mostly) improvised.

Open Improv JAM - 8.45pm

Seen improv comedy and want to give it a shot? Pop your name inside of Box - BOX! - and, when it gets called, come on up to the stage for improv fun. Open to everyone and all welcomed, from veterans to novices alike!
Last Sunday of the Month
30th July

The Cutting Room - 7.30pm

Improv Comedy where audience suggestions inspire rapidly unfolding scenes. As if by magic players draw a story out of the chaos. Captivating side-scene or part of the main plot? Like comedy origami, the right cuts and folds make the play take shape. With time and place no obstacle, this improvised comedy is guaranteed to go where it has never gone before.
8.30pm - A special surprise guest act will be joining us in the second half - but who will it be?? Come along on the last Sunday to find out..
We're located downstairs at Monkey Barrel Comedy in The Original Room (look for the big fluorescent yellow arrow to find us!). Doors open at 7pm and we're there with a different show every Sunday night - plus there's a well priced bar and retro computer games, so bring some friends and join us for a great value, great fun evening out. Tickets are £5 and available online or on the door.
