Please join us this Thursday, September 14th, for an exhibit opening of Korea 65: The Forgotten War Remembered that captures the stories of veterans and Korean Americans whose lives were influenced by the Korean War. Performances begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Rotunda. The program starts at 3 p.m. in the State Reception Room, 3rd floor, Capitol Building in Olympia. For more information or to RSVP, email us.

Korea 65 lesson plans available! Three-part mini-units are available free online for teachers to introduce the exhibit and project into their classroom. Check out the lesson plans here

Writing, Art & Film Contest for students in grades 6-12 that runs through November 30. Participating students explore how the Korean War affects Washington today through essays, film projects and two-dimensional art. Learn more here.
