New Myths vs. Facts About Common Misperceptions Like Nutrition, Sodium and BPA

There have been several stories about canned foods popping up in the news lately, which prompted us to give our Myth Busters page on Mealtime.org a little facelift. For your use and reference, feel free to cite the scientific facts and direct your patients and clients to these simple explanations of why canned food is nutritious, offers many low-sodium options, does not require preservatives, and most importantly safe.

Common misconceptions are some of the greatest barriers between consumers and a healthy diet.
