Mining abomination in Honduras: Aura Minerals (canadian company) filmed September 5, 2017, digging up cadavers from the 200 year old Azaculapa cemetery, to get at more gold
With the support of the Canadian government, Honduran government and military, Aura Minerals plans to dig up hundreds of cadavers, to entirely empty out this most sacred of places.
To support community members (with the Comite Ambientalista de Azacualpa), trying to resisting and put a stop to this abomination, and to other health and environmental harms caused by Aura Minerals' open-pit, cyanide leaching mine, and for more information, contact: Grahame Russell, Rights Action, info@rightsaction.org, 1-416-807-446
