Solo at The Dog House

The Dog House is a brand new place in Chelsea, on 160 W25th St. at 7th Ave, and it's right inside the Four Points (Sheraton) Hotel. I'll be playing a solo set of my songs and covers. There might be space and time for sitting in, so if you're a musician and feel inclined, by all means go ahead and bring your instrument.

With Danny Walsh Quartet

Last Tuesday I had the pleasure to sit in with saxophonist Danny Walsh and his jazz-fusion quartet at Matt's.  This Tuesday I'll come back, and we hope you'd like to join us.  Danny is a great musician playing with Mike Stern at the 55 Bar, and his band is superb, hope to see you!

IAW&A Award for Donahue

I'd also like to share a personal experience that I hope you enjoy.  Last Monday the Irish-American Writers and Artists Associacion (IAW&A) hosted their annual Eugene O'Neill Lifetime Achievement Award Ceremony, this year given to Phil Donahue.  I was honored to contribute a small participation to the event, and it was very exciting to see Donahue, Marlo Thomas, and Rosie O'Donnell among other celebrities.  I hope you like the photos! The IAW&A also regularly hosts a salon with presenters from many different artistic fields, like poets, essayists, musicians, singers, painters, actors, and playwrights among others, who get together to exhibit and share their work.  The gatherings are a great opportunity for socializing, networking, and of course, learning from all kinds of professionals.  I have had the pleasure to perform in more than one occasion and will surely be involved again, so you'll be hearing more about IAW&A in the future.
