Realism and Fantasy in the Time of Trump

Two Vermont authors read from their books and lead an open discussion

What prompts writerly choices of genres? Why do writers write and readers read? What connects them? Does reading and writing still matter today? Vermont authors Laurie Forest and Rickey Gard Diamond put their heads together to talk about writing in very different genres. They’ll read from their work, discuss issues, and field your questions.

The event will be introduced and moderated by local editor and writer Bronwyn Fryer.
