- The International Festival is celebrating its 20th year in the Harrisonburg community September 30th at Hillandale Park. Visit the many food and art vendors, and enjoy the performances throughout the day.
- The former president of JMU – Dr. Ronald Carrier – passed away September 18th.
- The JMU Marching Royal Dukes have been selected to perform in the 2018 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

We are so excited to have the accomplished and incredibly talented artist, Brenda Hounshell, display her artwork in the Wilson Downtown Gallery for the months of October and November. We so enjoyed having her last year, and are excited to see her new works this year! Come join us for the First Fridays Art Opening October 6th from 5pm-8pm at the Wilson Downtown Gallery!
