J.A.M. (Just Average Musicians)

We get together on the first Sunday of every month to hang out, jam, and learn new things.
At the next J.A.M we are going to learn Bad Moon Rising and My Lighthouse - if you would like to get to know the song a little bit before playing.

THANK YOU to everyone who generously contributed on Sunday towards the Zimbabwe feeding group. Together we raised $418.50 with soup donations. The feeding group are raising chickens to sell so they can provide a lunchtime meal to children who walk many km's each day to school without having a meal. This money will help build a bigger enclosure to keep the chickens safe so they can become self sufficient.

- Pray for the young people travelling to Bunbury this weekend for Sportsfest with our friends at Woodvale Baptist Church.
- Praise God for the people organising events for our men and women on September 30th and October 13th. Pray for those God would have you invite along. Pray for courage and commitment to be part of the mission to share and declare the love of God in our communities.
- For Jim Dunlop who remains in intensive care at Midland hospital after complications following recent surgery. Pray for Marie and their family during this difficult time.
- Pray for families over the school holidays, that they will have wonderful times of connection with one another and safety in all their activities.
- Praise God for our amazing youth leadership team who will have a break from Friday night ministry during the holidays. Pray for refreshment and preparation for the last term of 2017!
- Pray for Master’s Games on October 7th, that it will be an effective time of building relationships and sharing & declaring the love of Jesus in how we participate in the day.
- Pray for the many conversations happening in our nation surrounding the redefinition of marriage, that truth spoken in genuine love will characterize all those who belong to Jesus. May we represent Him well in all we say and do.
- Pray for the appointment of leaders over the next few weeks and praise God for the faithful, humble service of those who have been willing to serve our congregation on our Board and Eldership.
