How do Series Standings work?

With 3 races in the books, clear leaders are beginning to emerge in the D&D Bicycles 2017 MiSCA Race Series. Riders are awarded points after each race, based on their finish place. 1st place receives the most points (35), 2nd place (30), 3rd place (27) and the trend continues with fewer points awarded for the remaining riders. Students only need to start 3 races to qualify for awards, but MiSCA calculates the overall score based on a student's top 4 races. Make sure you check your standings to make sure there are no unexpected issues. The leader in each category will be awarded the MiSCA State Championship, with Series awards to the top 3.

MiSCA Moms Group

Did you know there's a Facebook Group just for MiSCA Moms? OK, so we let Dads and Coaches in too, but still... pretty cool! This is a great place to share pictures, ask questions, and interact with parents from different teams. It's a closed group, so just submit your request to join.

Helping our Fellow Riders!

We are committed to making our events accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation, to the best of our ability. We reviewed applications for financial assistance and were able to approve all of the requests! Scholarships awarded covered the entire race entry fees for the all races in the D&D Bicycles 2017 MiSCA Race Series. This is the first year we've offered this and we couldn't do it without the help from our supporters and sponsors. THANK YOU!

MiSCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization hosting mountain bike events throughout Michigan for elementary, middle, and high school-aged students. We rely heavily on our Volunteers, Sponsors, and Donors to be able to provide the great programs we offer. If you can, please make a contribution today or sign up to volunteer!
