Construction has Started!
We have started to develop the orphanage property (see article further down). The first phase is to secure the land by having a watchman live on site. Constructing foundations is in progress for a guard house that will be by the entrance to the Orphanage facility. Total cost to complete the guard house is only US$2,890. We have raised $750 towards that goal. See below how you can participate and make a difference!

Food Supplies
We have fenced an area for growing vegetables and to move the pigs project to. Below Hosea (orphanage manager) is starting to prepare the land for sweet potato (cassava) seed. The pig farming project is currently on rented land, and will be moved as soon as the pig pens are built.
Long term vision for the Property
We were able to purchase land and have now started development of a permanent home for up to 60 orphans. The plan is to construct a main building with kitchen/dining room and six to eight small houses (600 sq.ft. in size). Each small house will be home to 8 to 10 children and host parents. Read more...
