Are you passionate about the education of girls? Then help us say “Yes” to the HOPE Network of Schools and the Katherine G. Johnson S.T.E.A.M. (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) School for Girls, grades K-8. The first in Illinois! Join us at our Community Forum and demonstrate to Chicago Public Schools that we have your support!

We are hosting a community forum that will be attended by Chicago Public Schools on Friday, September 22nd from 6:30 -7:30 p.m. at New Birth Kingdom Ministries, 7044 S. Princeton (corner of 71st & Princeton). This site is a few steps away from our proposed site- Yale School. We need your support and ATTENDANCE!

KGJSS is an innovative contract school model which will prepare girls for the projected growth of almost 1 million STEM jobs per year. The school is named in honor of Dr. Katherine G. Johnson whose life was featured in the highly acclaimed movie, Hidden Figures. Sign our petition at www.hopenetworkofschools.org. Please share in your networks. We hope to see you there!

NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN! Do you know a dynamic, accomplished woman under the age of 40? Nominate her for a 40 Under 40 Young Women Professionals (YWPL) Award. The 40 Under 40 YWPL Award is a great way for rising leaders to be recognized for their accomplishments, enhance their leadership skills, and empower the next generation of young women leaders. 

We select 40 young African American women annually who are inducted into the League at our award ceremony. The YWPL was founded in 2015, and has inducted two cohorts of women. In just two years, the annual awards event is standing room only and has been featured in Rolling Out and Jet Magazine. Check out our video below!

Join The Hope Network of Schools and Reel Beauty, Inc. for their inaugural S.T.E.A.M. workshop, Lipsticks & Shadows. Girls ages 7-15 can learn how to make their own lip gloss accompanied with learning math, science and the arts. It's going to be so much fun!
