Take a break from your usual routine to catch up with like-minded young professionals in a relaxed setting. Ballarat's very own 'Breakfast with the Stars' will give you the chance to listen to high profile Jockeys and Trainers. Watch some horses gallop up the home straight whilst enjoying a jam packed morning lead by Lachlan McKenzie CEO Ballarat Turf Club. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 3 from 7am - 8.45am at the Ballarat Turf Club. The “After Five” is your chance to network, foster relationships with other like-minded people and build your profile in a casual setting. The host is given the opportunity to showcase their business to attendees and will provide drinks and savories for your enjoyment. We encourage attendees to bring along staff, colleagues or a guest. Formation Hairstylists invites you to visit their creative space & build your network. Millions granted in massive windfall for Ballarat Hospice Care
Ballarat Hospice Care welcomes the $6.2 million state government funding announcement for its new palliative care hub in Lucas.  The new hub will allow Ballarat Hospice Care to take its service to a whole new dimension. “This new facility will allow us to continue to provide quality care but will enable us to provide it in new and diverse ways and to implement the government’s end of life framework,” Ms Clancy said. Coates Oration Dinner 2017
Tuesday, Oct 10th, 2017, the Hon. Tim Fischer AO will present the Coates Oration entitled "One Hundred Years On Who Won World War One?" What's in the Box? 
The Biennale of Australia Art will be hosting an exhibition with over 70 small scale artworks to celebrate the official announcement of their 2018 BOAA artists.
