Bioneers Conference Oct. 20, 21,& 22
Once again Bioneers is offering us a discount on tickets to this inspiring annual conference. "Bioneers" comes from the combination of Biology and Pioneers; it means using natural solutions to solve today's pressing environmental problems. Like they say, nature does it with renewable materials, at room temperature, and without waste. We can't do better!

The 15% discount code to be entered at the checkout on the Bioneers registration page is GWC. You can also register by using this direct and unique link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/national-bioneers-conference-2017-tickets-32089578794?discount=GWC

Please note that prices will increase on October 1. The code will be valid until the conference, but tickets will be more expensive.

For the past 28 years, Bioneers has organized a summit of scientists, activists, journalists, artists, entrepreneurs and other thought leaders and visionaries to highlight solutions to some of the world's biggest challenges. Don't miss it!

Coastal Clean Up Wrap Up
GWC hosted a creek clean up along the north fork of Gallinas Creek on Sept. 16. We had four kayaks and picked up 6 bags of trash. A lot of rubber balls and plastic bottles made up the bulk of trash. Marin County Parks and City of San Rafael were our partners on land. Cub scouts and more picked up several car loads of trash.

Want to help keep trash from happening? Are you already a litteratti??? See Clean Marin Trash Summit details right here ------>
