A limited amount of tickets are available for our 2nd Annual Folk'n'Flannel Festival & Fundraiser! NEW this year: dogs are allowed! That's right! Thanks to our site sponsor, Camp Shady Brook YMCA, furry friends in flannel will be allowed to attend as long as they are well behaved and leashed! Also, thanks to your feedback from last year's event, the ticket price now includes a beer koozie, a Folk'n'Flannel Sticker, and a reusable water bottle! We'd also like to welcome a new activity to the Folk'n'Flannel this year, Yoga & Brews! This complimentary activity will be available during check in from 3-4 and 4-5 on Friday Oct. the 6th. Pedal Party Winner!
Kim C. was the winner of the 2017 New Belgium Brewing/Detroit Bikes Cruiser! She came to nearly all of the Pedal Party events and had 22 entries for the bike!! Stay tuned for next year's details about the Pedal Party, as it will be changing locations. Curious about the 2018 route? Come scout it out on the 13th at 6pm, leaving from Goat Patch Brewing, 2727 N. Cascade Ave!

Creek Week Cleanup
On Saturday, Sept., 30th, we invite you to join us as we clean our adopted trail along the Greenway! This is a Special Edition Cleanup for Fountain Creek Watershed, Flood Control and Greenway District‘s “Creek Week”!
Join UpaDowna to make a difference on our urban trails by helping us clean our adopted trail from America the Beautiful Park along the trail south to S. Tejon St!
**NEW MEETING LOCATION!!** Meet up near S. Tejon, not ATB Park. Park your car in the ABRA Car lot, as close as you can to the trail/creek. Trash bags, gloves, water, and snacks will be provided. PLEASE RSVP for the cleanup and lunch here! Lunch sponsored by Modern Market!!

Sponsor Event Highlight-
The first annual S'more Adventure Race will be held on September 30, 2017 at Camp Shady Brook, near Deckers, CO! Each team of 4 will race in a variety of endurance disciplines, including orienteering/navigation, cross-country running/hiking, mountain biking, paddling and other challenges! Runners can look forward to a large vendor area with interactive booths and a food truck fest. Be prepared for an amazing day!
Teams: Each team will consist of four athletes. Categories are male, female and coed. Participants must be 16 or older. Competition: Space is limited to the first 50 teams, so register now! Awards: Awards will be given to the top three teams in each division.
Lodging: Come stay with us the night before for just $50 per person! (Includes dinner and breakfast!)

- Fri. Oct. 6th- Sat. Oct. 7th: 2nd Annual "Folk'n'Flannel" Fundraiser- The "Folk'N'Flannel" is a yearly fundraiser for the 501(c)3 nonprofit UpaDowna. This fundraiser takes place in the beautiful mountains of Deckers, CO, and includes an overnight campout, all food, live music, and fun outdoor activities! TICKETS! VOLUNTEER!
