Last month saw the Manly Chamber host our inaugural Fashion Parade in support of Manly’s boutiques – Northern Beaches Now, Nelli & Mo, The Darley Store, Attik and This & That.  The highlight of the event was the opportunity to applaud the work of the Manly Community Centre (MCC) and it’s volunteers, with all monies raised donated to the MCC.
With the support of Hotel Steyne who opened their rooftop bar The Glasshouse, the ladies filled the venue to capacity!  A very big thank you not only to the participating stores and venue, but to Willow Hair and Julie Crespel Photography who helped make the models look incredible, Garfish, Whitewater and Manly Pavilion all who donated prizes to ensure additional funds were shared with the Manly Community Centre  For additional pics of the night visit our Facebook page here.

In other news the Chamber Executive were pleased to once again be awarded the contract for Manly Market Place operations from Northern Beaches Council after a vigorous
application process.  Plus we continue to review options to support business in Manly to go plastic free.

At present we are preparing for the Chamber’s AGM where we will review the past year, including the findings from our Revitalisation Project and finish with celebratory drinks at Hugos.  Plus another Chamber first with our October event including ‘little Chamber Champions'!

So enjoy this treat of warmer weather and look forward to seeing you soon,

Chantelle & Monique
