The Israel Committee of Santa Barbara is once again holding our annual Teach-In event on Sunday September 17 at the UC Santa Barbara Hillel and we would like to extend an invitation to members of your Congregation.
I live in Santa Barbara (and work in San Luis Obispo) and am on the Israel Committee of Santa Barbara, which organizes an annual Teach-In held at the UCSB Hillel. Our Committee membership constitutes a broad political spectrum, so the Teach-In likewise represents points of view from across the political landscape, varying each year in topics and speakers, but by design does not have an overall political agenda to push other than being Zionist. This will be our 10th annual Teach-In and, over the years, we have had many wonderful presentations from incredible speakers. Typically we have one to two hundred people attending:
