Three of our talented riders have been chosen to represent Western Australia at the upcoming RDA National Championships at Werribee Park in Victoria.
To give our riders the best opportunity to compete to the best of their ability, having fun and confidence in themselves, M'liss, Jacqui and the CTRC Board have decided to support the goals of these riders by sending their CTRC horses along too! Competing with their familiar partner will allow our riders to be the most comfortable and confident, rather than adjusting to a new mount in Victoria.
This is not a cheap or easy exercise, and sending their horses over and back will require large sums for the families. The team is fortunate that Wayne Keily from Combined horse transport has offered to transport the horses for a 50% discount and offer a training facility for the horses and riders for free.
We are extremely grateful to Wayne, but we are still looking to raise an extra $1600 to transport each horse and provide facilities for the riders and horse.
As CTRC has offered the horses, we therefore want to help the families fundraise to cover the rest of the expenses.
Any and all donations would be much appreciated to help these girls achieve their dreams and help us give them their best opportunity to do so.
