Indescribable, but he’ll give it a try.
Daniel 12:5-7
5 I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. 6 His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.
Ever seen a movie from the point of view of an animal, with funny interpretations of our behavior?
Ever tried to capture a brilliant piece of scenery or a child’s expression on camera?
Ever tried to explain a funny moment or a great experience to somebody?
There must be a million poorly writ poems of people wanting to, but not being able to, convey, anger, beauty, sorrow… love. Life is full of things that can not be adequately explained, described or shared, even when experienced first hand. If my description of a setting sun across the water (I am from W.A)is inadequate, how much more inadequate would any descriptions of the glorious God who made every beautiful thing that we see be!
Take a moment to reflect how highly God is esteemed, glorified and praised, how majestically he is described and conveyed, and think, it all still falls short of his true majesty and glory!
