SEPTEMBER 2017                                                          Vol. 2, No. 2
Coyote/TNT Square and Round Dance
Newsletter
Hello <<First Name>>,
Hello you square dance callers and round dance leaders everywhere.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has been affected by Harvey and Irma. We wish you the very best. We have over a thousand of you great people on our mailing list and a large percentage of you take a few minutes of your time to read my little news letter.  Many of you make comments and ask questions about different recordings.  If I can’t answer a question that you might ask, Gardner Patton can.  Gardner is one of the historians of Square Dance.  He is also the one that helps me put this mailing together.

You readers are very helpful in finding
TNT records for me,  records that I don’t have in my files.  A big thank you goes out to the following callers. Mike Gormley of Florida, and Brian Hotchkies of Australia.  Both of these callers got me a copy of TNT 217 Glow Worm.

Other callers to thank in this newsletter.

Buddy Weaver for his nice write up about Coyote and TNT records in the September issue of American Square Dance magazine.  Buddy is doing articles in the magazine titled Our Square Dance Music Producers.

Don & Doug Sprosty  ( the Sprosty Twins ) of Iowa who had some very nice things to say about Coyote  831,  I’m Gonna Make You Mine.

Bob Farnell of San Antonio Texas  on his nice remarks about Coyote  827, Patriotic Medley. This song gets me the most positive feedback from dancers.

Jim Unger of Michigan writes “I almost always start my dances and one nighters with the Coyote 331 patter, Where The Soul Never Dies"

Randy Boyd of American Square Dance Magazine and his staff for being so nice to me when I stopped by un-announced to say hello.  Hopefully you guys and girls subscribe to American Square Dance.

Classes
As it says on the front of the September issue of American Square Dance Magazine “When I think square dancing, I think fall time!”  Hopefully everyone will have the biggest class ever.

Because of some health problems in the family, I did not make the National this year.  Hopefully I will make it to KC.

Until the next time remember “If the Coyote doesn’t get you TNT will”.

Sincerely,
