Each year our professional association is in competition with every other thing in our lives vying for our time. Each of us attempt to have work / life balance and an association such of this can easily be cast aside in light of other priorities.
I for one know the challenges of such life / work balance challenges being a 47 year old man managing a consulting firm, blessed with a talented wife with an unusual schedule and a 4 year old active daughter.
Let me share with you that this professional association has a wealth of dedicated and talented professionals who can be your "reach back" consultants. Countless times we are discussing highly technical issues that are on the forefront of the news of the day and emerging in our industry.
I encourage each of you to take the time to put the rest of this years schedule on your calendar as well as pencil in next year as the value proposition of membership AND the time you spend visiting with the group during our monthly meetings does have value.
(Pardon my brief injection as Matt, our President, is rather busy this month scheduling and securing a great opportunity).
