Imire Family Volunteer Programme

Imire Rhino & Wildlife Conservancy is dedicated to protecting wildlife. They strongly believe that rural communities and conservation programmes can successfully thrive side by side. Working together to ensure the protection of our natural heritage. Which is why they are very excited to offer this unique volunteer programme to families with children aged 9 to 17. This opportunity allows us to voluntarily help protect and secure endangered wildlife for future generations and empower local communities with knowledge and education.

Families taking part in this volunteer programme will be involved with a variety of tasks which include opportunities to:

Work closely and safely outdoors alongside rhinos, elephants and an abundance of other wildlife.
Take part in community enrichment and look in depth at holistic conservation practices.
Learn about amazing animals and the natural world from guides who are extremely experienced working closely with children.
Participate in exciting team-building activities.
Learn survival and bush craft skills and enjoy nature walks and game drives.
Get your hands and clothes dirty doing fun and physical work around the conservancy!

This programme will run from:
18 DECEMBER 2017 - 1 JANUARY 2018

KAZA UNIVISA CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE IN ZAMBIA
There is currently a shortage of the KAZA Univisa stickers in Zambia that they have with Zimbabwe (Zambian side), at all four of the entry ports. Livingstone Airport, Lusaka Airport, Kazungula Border with Botswana and Victoria Falls Border. They have all suspended the issuing of the UniVisa since the stickers ran out.
