What's new at BigML?

Deepnets, the latest BigML resource is about to be released! This highly effective supervised learning method solves classification and regression problems in a way that can match or exceed human performance, especially in domains where effective feature engineering is difficult. Deepnets are state-of-the-art in speech recognition, text classification, image classification, and object detection tasks, among other use cases. The new resource will be fully available from the BigML Dashboard, API, as well as from WhizzML for its automation on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM PDT (Portland, Oregon. GMT -07:00) / 07:00 PM CEST (Valencia, Spain. GMT +02:00). Meet us in Boston, US, on October 24 and 25, at PAPIs 2017, the 4th International Conference on Predictive APIs and Apps. The BigML Team will be there to discuss the challenges of building real-world predictive applications. Dr. Charles Parker, BigML's VP of Machine Learning Algorithms, will be giving a talk about ML automation.

The third edition of our Valencian Summer School in Machine Learning broke our records across the board. A big thank you to all our attendees who made this event one for the books! Over 200 BigMLers from 14 countries representing 92 companies and 28 academic organizations gathered in Valencia for two fun, intense days of Machine Learning training.
