GOD CAN MAKE A WAY!

It seems like we are always talking about our bridge!  From flooding to vehicles getting stuck, we are used to the bridge giving us problems!  This past week, the bridge partially collapsed when an 18 wheeler tried to cross.  This bridge is our main access to town.  There are other routes we can take, but one has a recently constructed log bridge, and the other paths are smaller and not always suitable for vehicles.  We have heard rumors for years that the government is preparing to build a proper bridge on our road.  Please join us in praying that this recent event will spur them on to do construction and that we can safely access town soon!
PRAY FOR IMMIGRATION
This past month, New Day had our first visa application for a long-term volunteer denied.  Rumors of the Zambian government denying or not renewing expat work permits have been flying for awhile, but this was our first time to experience it.  Please pray that God would open the door for Gaye Reynolds to join us at New Day if it is His will, and for the upcoming renewals of Diana, Carolyn, and Dee's work permits to go through smoothly.  We know that God holds the hearts of kings in His hands, and we would covet your prayers!

PRAY FOR DIANA
Many of you have been praying for Diana as she returned to the USA last month due to her mother's illness.  Sadly (for us), Barbara passed away on September 21st.  A beautiful worship service was held to celebrate her life, her passion for Jesus, her prayer warrior spirit, and her laugh!  Please continue to lift up Diana as she adjusts to life without her mom and as she takes care of logistics in the USA.  We love you Teacher Diana!
