Message from Janice Weis and Lucy Brehm: The Environmental, Natural Resources, and Energy Law program at Lewis & Clark has blossomed beyond the doors of the institution, creating relationships and opportunities for traditional law students as well as increasing numbers of people who want - and need - to know more about the impact of environmental law on the huge challenges our society and planet face in the 21st century. With our growing Master of Studies program, our creative new courses, our federal agency trainings, and our clinics and centers, all of which bring in scientists, journalists, policy makers, teachers and other "non-law" professionals, we are expanding the definition of what it means to be a student of law.
Read through our "GreenFlash" news and you will note the incredible outreach from our faculty who continue to publish and speak out in newspapers, magazines, online, and on air - in addition to producing traditional law review articles. Our program and courses are enhanced by the exchange of these different points of view and experiences.
