One more week until the most anticipated Cookbook Club Meet & Eat of the year. “Taste of Persia: A Cook's Travels Through Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, and Kurdistan by Naomi Duguid is the 2017 winner of both the James Beard Award for Best Book of the Year, International and the IACP Award for Best Cookbook for the Year in Culinary Travel.

"Through rich storytelling and recipes from her travels, Duguid explores the culinary heritage that unites Iran, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kurdistan.” Recipes like Spicy Fish Salad, Fried Eggplant Roll-Ups, and Pomegranate Ash with Meatballs,  all shared on our blog, demonstrate the depth and breadth of true Persian cuisine.
