ALPFA Success Story:
Jorge Londono
My ALPFA experience began by joining my local student organization at the University of Central Florida. I was a somewhat professionally clueless student who barely had one internship under his belt before joining. By attending the ALPFA regional symposiums and national conventions, I completed multiple internships with Fortune 500 companies before finishing school. ALPFA impacted me by changing me from an anonymous face in a crowd of students into someone who moved across the country after landing their dream job with Microsoft.

ALPFA helped me professionally by developing my resume to quantify my achievements so employers would consider me in the first place. After I fixed my resume I worked on my interview skills and public speaking skills by becoming one of the leaders of UCF's chapter.

The most beneficial event that helped me from ALPFA was probably the first day I met Shaan Ameerally, the Vice President of my local chapter during a Google info session on campus. He convinced me to become a member and eventually an officer of our chapter. After joining and attending the conferences, my life hasn't been the same since.
