VJN 2017 is a month away, register today

ONE MONTH UNTIL VJN2017!
A FORUM ON SEEKING THE PEACE OF OUR CITIES
OCTOBER 20-21 | YAKIMA VINEYARD | WA

For 2 days, we'll worship together and learn with key Vineyard leaders like David Ruis, Tri Robinson, Rose Madrid-Swetman, Rich Nathan, and Cheryl and Lance Pittluck. They, along with other leaders like Robb Morgan, Noni Farrelly (UK), Beth Wood (Canada), and local city council and community organizations will help us connect our lives of worship with a Kingdom approach to key issues of community partnerships, immigration and refugees, racial reconciliation, ending poverty, and tending creation.

Together, we will reflect on the "liturgies" of our towns, neighborhoods, and cities, and we'll lean in on how being "naturally supernatural" makes all the difference in doing justice for the long haul. We must cultivate our spiritual practices, as they will make or break our ability to truly love ourselves, our neighbors, and our cities. Together, we will cry out to Jesus: "Lord, have mercy on us, who are sinners."

The conference begins on Friday at 1:30pm and ends at 4pm on Saturday.

PRE-CONFERENCE EVENTS
FRIDAY IMMERSION EXPERIENCE
We'd love to have you join us for an "immersion experience" from 8:30am-12pm on the Friday morning before the conference begins. Folks will have an opportunity to visit a Vineyard community center(Sunrise Outreach Center), meet with local city officials and community leaders, participate in a "prayer tour" of Yakima, and serve a home for survivors of trafficking or serve in a food pantry.

THURSDAY DINNER
And finally, for anyone who comes into town Thursday night, 10/19, David Ruis and the Canadians are hosting an informal dinner and worship gathering.

The Vineyard USA Ethnic Diversity Working Team's purpose is to increase ethnically diverse leaders at every level in the Vineyard. The team has set aside some funds to help prioritize Vineyard pastors and leaders of color to participate in national Vineyard events like VJN 2017.

Longtime VJN member Peter Wohler, pastor of Merge Vineyard in Minneapolis, has just been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. Please pray for total healing, for "the cancer to go!" Peter would also love prayer for being able to experience the Lord to be drawing close in His presence, intimacy,and hope.
